Embedding web video

August 28, 2007 · 2 Comments

Adding video from flash based websites can be a useful way for teachers of keeping the content and focus on the page in which it is embedded. Edublogs supports many URLs that can quickly added to provide interesting starting points for discussion in the blogs comments.

    Hi Paul,

I am a middle school teacher in Oregon and a new EduBlog member. I am trying to figure out how to upload videos to EduBlog directly from my MacBook and I am hitting a wall. It seems to only want web video & I would rather not deal with YouTube since it is blocked by my distrect’s server. Argh!!! Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Jeff Coleman

Am glad you enjoyed my video…check out the resources I have to go with it…one of the things you can find there Jeff…are alternate youtube type hosts that may NOT be blocked at schools. On my media page, I have lots of resources for school friendly services.
My 2 favorites are teacher tube and splash cast media.
